Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 tbsp unflavored gelatin
  • Natural or food-safe coloring
  • Optional: fine glitter flower petals, or tissue paper

Method
 

  1. Grab a pot and mix together the water, cornstarch, white vinegar, and gelatin.
  2. Put it on the stove over medium heat. Stir until it thickens and becomes clear.
  3. Take it off the heat and let it cool.
  4. Divide the mixture into separate bowls and add your chosen colors.
  5. Pour the colorful mixture onto a non-stick surface in desired shapes.
  6. Sprinkle on glitter, flower petals, or tissue paper while wet if desired.
  7. Use a hole punch to create a hang hole at the top.
  8. Let them dry completely.
  9. Once dry, attach string or suction hook.

Notes

Store finished pieces flat and separated by tissue paper in a cool, dry place. Avoid direct heat exposure.
