Ingredients
  

  • Clear school glue or clear craft glue
  • Heavyweight wax paper or a silicone mat
  • Toothpicks or thin wooden skewers
  • Liquid watercolor or diluted acrylic ink
  • Fine-tip glue bottles or disposable piping bags optional
  • Pencil and a cardboard template optional
  • Small beads or glitter optional
  • Thin fishing line or ribbon
  • A tray or shallow box
  • Hair dryer on low heat optional

Method
 

  1. Prepare your surface and template.
  2. Load your glue bottle or piping bag.
  3. Draw the outline.
  4. Fill with concentric lines or dots.
  5. Add color drops.
  6. Swirl gently.
  7. Add texture if you like.
  8. Smooth thick areas.
  9. Let it dry.
  10. Peel off carefully.
  11. Trim and finish.
  12. Hang and enjoy.

Notes

Keep your sun catchers away from direct heat sources and avoid very humid spaces. Store extras flat between sheets of wax paper.
